EDUCATOR
I have a special passion for Montessori education and have been working as a Montessorian for more than fifteen years. My objective is to combine my training, education and experience with warmth, openness, and a strong respect for children and their parents.

EXPERIENCE
I completed my Early Childhood Montessori certification in 1995 and started working as a lead teacher in the primary/kindergarten program at North Valley Day School Montessori in Albuquerque, New Mexico. For more than ten years I was the arts and physical education director for Cottonwood School Montessori in Corrales, New Mexico, teaching both pre-primary and elementary students. I also spent several summers directing the Harwood Arts Camp at the Harwood Art Center in Albuquerque. Currently I am a teacher at Escuela del Sol Montessori in Albuquerque.

OVERVIEW
I have had the wonderful experience of teaching a diverse group of preschool and elementary school students. I have developed highly effective and engaging instructional methods, allowing me to reach and inspire all styles of learners, all the while fostering a fun and respectful environment that effectively promotes curiosity, creativity, confidence, and independence.
